Texmaker! Finally, a free, multi-platform, LaTeX editor is here! It is not as polished as Kile (if I were working in Linux, I’d prefer Kile) but it has all the general features. It is a work in progress and seems to be growing exponentially! I prefer this on OS X over any other LaTeX editor (since my compiled version of Kile is very buggy). And to me, this seems way better than the editors in Windows (e.g. WinEdit). I’m sure it will help me replace Kile on my Linux box soon, once it gets more developed. Right now it lacks in the region of auto-completing especially when working with bibliographies and multiple source file projects.
